Brothers & Sisters (Brossis) operates the Brossis member-run mutual support circle and this website. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information when you interact with Brossis through Telegram, the TON network, or brossis.org.

Information we collect

We may collect information you provide when joining or using Brossis, including:

• Name, contact details, and Telegram account identifiers
• TON wallet address used for membership contributions and payouts
• Primary and secondary beneficiary names and contact details you designate
• Membership status, eligibility period, and governance preferences
• Identity verification status and reference IDs from Didit (not raw ID images unless legally required)
• On-chain transaction hashes and wallet addresses associated with approved payments

Identity verification

Every member verifies identity through Didit — a third-party provider — before membership becomes active. Didit is not part of Brossis and does not participate in assistance decisions or fund management.

• Government ID and liveness verification
• Duplicate-membership detection across the platform
• Verification status and a reference ID retained instead of raw documents, unless law requires otherwise

How we use information

We use collected information to operate the circle, including:

• Activating and maintaining membership and eligibility records
• Processing assistance requests involving your named beneficiaries
• Operating the Review Circle and Governance Council processes
• Publishing membership, reserve, and payment information described in the Brossis model
• Paying referral rewards to connected TON wallets
• Communicating about standing, replenishment, governance votes, and policy updates

On-chain and financial records

Approved community assistance and referral rewards are sent in USDT through multisig authorization. Transaction hashes and relevant wallet addresses are recorded on-chain and may be linked to membership records for transparency and audit purposes.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell personal information. We may share data with service providers who help operate the platform under confidentiality obligations, with Didit for verification, and when required by law or to protect members and the integrity of the circle. We retain information as long as needed for membership, legal compliance, and published audit requirements.

Your choices and rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete certain personal information, or to object to specific processing. Contact us to exercise these rights. Some records (for example on-chain transactions) may not be erasable once published.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through membership channels.
